Here are 5 podcasts that have made my life better, without question. I’m listing them in no particular order. You can listen access them from the Podcasts App on your iPhone. Enjoy!!

#1 The Skinny Confidential Him & Her

I’ve been listening to TSC Him & Her Podcast for at least 5 years, and it’s gotten exponentially better. Hey, 100+ million downloads don’t lie.. This podcast is a fun cocktail of entertainment and deep conversations, which are chock full of great advice, big and small.

The ultimate power couple, Lauryn and Michael Bosstick, talk a LOT about wellness, health & beauty, but you can also find plenty of episodes on entrepreneurship, branding, relationships, parenting, celebrity gossip, blowjobs and literally everything in between.

Some convos get X rated and I’m here for it. Also the witty banter and playful teasing between these spouses is, at times, pretty hilarious.

I have discovered MANY of my favorite authors, entrepreneurs and influencers by listening to this podcast, including Ramit Sethi, Andrew Huberman, Gala Darling, Dr. Amen, Ryan Holiday, Louise Hay, Chervin, and a ton of others.

#2 Almost 30

I discovered the Almost 30 podcast a few months ago, and listening to Krista and Lindsay has been a true delight! This podcast came on my radar at just the perfect time in my ongoing personal growth journey.

They caught my attention with ‘Episode 540: How to Thrive as an Empath: Understand The Shadow Side and Your Gifts.’ This solo-episode by Krista was fascinating and I really feel that it helped me to understand myself on a whole other level.

This is a fabulous podcast for anyone who wants to better themself intellectually, emotionally, or is interested in spirituality. The hosts are super smart, high achieving millennial women who make complex and challenging topics (such as consciousness, enlightenment, relationships, cancel culture and feminism) actually FUN to “noodle on.”

Some of the episodes are a bit too woo-woo for me, so I just skip ‘em and move on to the next one.

#3 Goal Digger

Oh Jenna Kutcher, what an invaluable resource and inspiration you’ve been for my business for the past 5+ years. I’ve been listening to Goal Digger since 2017, and I remember the episode that got me hooked: ‘Episode 155: How I Doubled My Instagram Growth in One Month.’ (I’m not going to tell you the secret, because I want you to listen to it!)

I suggest the Goal Digger podcast to all of my clients.. plus pretty much every entrepreneur and small business owner I meet. That’s because I’ve learned 90% of what I know about digital marketing + social media marketing from Jenna.

Truly a marketing genius (& self-made millionaire!), Jenna is a well of knowledge when it comes to selling anything and everything, without being sleezy or salesy. She seems to have an innate understanding of marketing and social media on a psychological level, based on how people are wired and how they want to feel. She educates on both high level strategies, as well as small actionable steps and takeaways you can implement right away.

I have taken all of Jenna’s online courses, and they were absolutely worth the investment.

Hot tip: Skip the guest episodes; her solo episodes are better. I also skip the parenting episodes, for obvious reasons.

#4 Take A Break from Drinking with Rachel Hart

I discovered Rachel Hart when I decided to cut WAY back on alcohol last year, for mental clarity and to improve my overall health. (In case you haven’t heard, alcohol is not good for us!)

What I didn’t expect when I started listening, is that Rachel’s podcast is hardly about alcohol or drinking at all. It’s about learning how to have a better relationship with yourself. Needless to say, this is right up my alley!

Rachel shares her extensive knowledge of the human brain and how it functions, making it easy for her listeners to understand why so many people reach for a glass of wine — or a vape pen, bag of chips, Netflix or their phone — as a quick and easy way to change how they feel, instead of addressing the feeling that’s making them want to zone out in the first place.

I’ve been listening to the Take a Break podcast for a while, and I truly feel it has empowered me to reconnect with my physical body, taught me skills to choose (or at least influence) my thoughts, and ultimately take charge of my emotions and habits, rather than letting them have power over me.

Whether or not you want to drink less alcohol, Rachel’s self-care techniques are 🔥. I also find her voice soothing and therapeutic to listen to.

#5 Huberman Lab

If you haven’t noticed by now, I’m super interested in health and wellness, and in particular neuroplasticity and optimizing my brain and mental health. Because, as one of my favorite authors, Gala Darling puts it, “feeling good is your job!!”

Huberman Lab is a nerdy — yet fascinating — podcast about science, brought to us by Dr. Andrew Huberman, who is an American neuroscientist and tenured associate professor in the Department of Neurobiology at the Stanford University School of Medicine. According to Wikipedia, “Huberman has made contributions to the brain development, brain plasticity, and neural regeneration and repair fields.”

The Huberman Lab Podcast discusses science and science-based tools for everyday life. He includes lots of simple, easy to implement advice, for example going for daily walks without your phone to improve your eye health.

Do you have any podcasts to add to this list? Leave a comment on this blog post and tell me! I can’t wait to check them out.

Until next time..
